Veteran's Day Ceremony

Cultural Diversity Festival
On January 12, 2008, the town of Rancho Sahuarita presented a multi-cultural fair celebrating the diversity of Southern Arizona and its environs. Represented in this festival of dance and song were groups of young performers including: The Eastern European Dance Troupe, Sunnyside H.S. Folklorico, The McGuire Irish Dance Academy, Tohono O'Dom Traditional Tribal Dance Troupe, and the University of Arizona African Dance Company under the direction of long-time Director Prof. Barbea Williams. Green Valley /Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Green Valley Chamber of Commerce provides Southern Arizona tourism and travel information, business and economic services and support to it more than 600 members. Nationally recognized for its work throughout the I-19 Corridor, The Green Valley/Sahuarita COC is a premiere organization dedicated to fostering an inclusive sense of community. St. Francis of Assisi Mural Dedication
St. Francis-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church is a living, caring, and welcoming community empowered by the Spirit of Christ's Love and sharing this Spirit with those around us. In keeping with this mission, St. Francis-In-The Valley recently unveiled a beautiful tile mural for its community room created by master tile artist Andrew Rush of the famed Rancho Linda Vista Artists colony. Watch the dedication of the mural by interim rector The Rev. N. Jean Rogers and hear from the artist himself about the process that went into the creation of the mural.
